Description
Dementia Series presented by: Nancy Abrahamson, Dementia Care Specialist from the Aging Disability Resource Center of St Croix County. Effective communication when someone has dementia and how to support the caregiver. When the brain changes due to dementia, communication must change as well. This will cover developing effective communication skills with the person with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and what the disease inspired behaviors mean. Learning how to support caregivers will be included in the presentation.
